| 19 | Onda Vaga | Comenzaron en enero de 2007, en Cabo Polonio (Uruguay), formado por Nacho Rodríguez y Marcelo Blanco (ex Doris) junto con Marcos Orellana y Tomás Justo (Michael Mike). Se trataba inicialmente de una formación acústica para tocar en bares del pequeño pueblo costero: cajón flamenco, guitarra criolla, cuatro venezolano y trompeta. Ya de vuelta en Argentina, sumaron a Germán Cohen (Satelite Kingston, Orquesta de salón) en voz y trombón. Desde ese momento, y fortalecidos por la disolución de Doris, comenzaron a tocar, hacerse un nombre y generar mayor convocatoria en el circuito under porteño. En 2008, editaron su primer disco “Fuerte y caliente”, que contó con la participación de Fito Páez. | Onda Vaga began in January 2007 in Cabo Polonio, a small coastal town in Uruguay, when Nacho Rodríguez and Marcelo Blanco (former Doris) along with Marcos Orellana and Tomás Justo (Michael Mike) prepared an acoustic set consisting of cajón, Spanish guitar, Venezuelan cuatro and trumpet to play some gigs during their holidays. From that moment, further strengthened by the dissolution of Doris, they began performing in several venues, making a name for themselves and drawing more and more followers of the local underground scene. En 2004 ingresó Marcelo Tandoori, ex guitarrista Los Peyotes y Los Transmisores. En 2005 se edita el segundo album, “Science Fiction Guaranteed”. Lucas DM comenzó como Vj colaborando con vjlima en 2006, presentándose en “+160 Drum&Bass Suite”, “Masivaa” y Boquitas Pintadas Petit Hotel. Junto a Villa Diamante, Dj Campeón y vjlima forman el colectivo audiovisual Limantes DJVJTJ, integrando textos tipeados en vivo a la situación djvj de las pistas de baile. Así desarrolla el TypeJockey, un software de edición de textos en tiempo real. | Lucas Luisao is a producer, DJ and one of the founders of the project Army of Dub. | 100 | Bert Van Wijk, PARBO y LARVA | BERT VAN WIJK (27 junio 1981, Papendrecht, Holanda) estudió illustración en el Willem de Kooning Academy en Rotterdam, Holanda. Vive y trabaja en Buenos Aires desde hace tres años. Sus obras se inspiran en el urbanismo, la robótica y la naturaleza creando su propio mundo, ya sea en una pared en la calle, en un cuadro, de forma digital o en tres dimensiones. PARBO (Lucas lasnier) y LARVA (Andres bonavera) son diseñadores gráficos e ilustradores, y miembros del grupo Kidgaucho en donde realizan trabajos comerciales y experimentales. En Buenos Aires trabaja como Director de Arte en publicidad y el resto de su tiempo se divide entre algunos proyectos más o menos estables. Trabaja constantemente junto a la banda de rock Mataplantas y colabora con otras bandas de la escena indie de Buenos Aires. Es VJ residente y productor ( junto a 4 DJs/ músicos) de Fiesta HEY. Cada fiesta alterna situaciones y perfomances, en la pista, en el escenario, en las pantalla y con bandas en vivo sorpresa interrumpiendo la noche. Lo que queda se reparte entre distintos proyectos que incluyen diseños, animaciones, pero mayormente videos que pueden (si es que se pueden) encasillar en distintas, infinitas y mezcladas categorías. En el último tiempo ha participado también de algunos programas de residencia. Uno a destacar fue en la ciudad de Hannover, Alemania, donde 12 artistas de 12 países de todo el mundo fueron elegidos para el proyecto Cityzooms, en donde realizaron un trabajo sobre video en solo una semana. Y el último y más reciente proyecto formó parte un programa de residencia producido por FAAP, la Fund Prince Klaus de Holanda y el Festival de Arte Electrónico Videobrasil ( en donde ganó la residencia misma y donde también, en el año 2005 ganó el primer premio del festival bi-anual con su trabajo “Roger”). | Federico Lamas was born in Buenos Aires in 1979. He is a Visual Artist (that is, designer, filmmaker and VJ) and works in advertising as an Art Director. When he is not at the advertising agency where he works, Federico devotes his time to other more or less stable projects. He regularly works with rock band Mataplantas and collaborates with other bands of the Buenos Aires indie scene, and is a permanent VJ and producer (along with four other DJs/musicians) of the Fiesta HEY parties. Each of such parties alternates performances and shows both on the dance floor and the stage, featuring surprise live bands bursting in. The rest of the time he divides himself between a variety of projects including designs and animations but mainly videos, which could (if possible) be classified into infinite different and mixed categories. He has recently taken part in projects such as Cityzooms, in Hannover, Germany, where 12 film and video artists from 12 countries shot short films in just one week.
